This app was developed by Community Partnership of the Ozarks through funding provided by a federal grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and a contract with the Missouri Division of Behavioral Health. It is intended to provide youth with access to mental health resources when needed as well as to give adults a tool to utilize and share with youth they encounter. The app is not a diagnostic tool, but rather a self-assessment of a youth’s feelings and access resources and information connected to how they feel.

The app is connected to a larger project that involves offering Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings throughout Southwest Missouri. In this 8-hour training, teachers, youth-serving organizations, parents, and general community members are empowered to be the one trusted adult for youth to turn to when in need. Our project also offers additional trainings to the First Aiders through lunch-and-learn webinars and an annual First Aider Summit.
